How to relieve back pain -- series pt.2 -- Seated Cat Cow Flow

Join me for this 10 minute self care practice to release back and neck tension!

This practice is great to do when you first wake up, sitting at the edge of your bed, at work as you take a little break or at the end of the day to reset your spine and release stored up tension from a hard days work.

This routine is beginner friendly!

Its so important to incorporate movement into our daily lives as a means of preventative maintenance. Our body's take on the weight of gravity, aging, hard labor jobs, stagnant postures in; driving, sitting at the desk, bent over doing our work or caring for children, and everything in between. We get so easily caught up in whatever it is that we are doing that we don't realize we are hurting ourselves by lack of awareness of our spine. Moving the spine in different ways allows for us to lubricate the joints, relax the surrounding muscles and steward a healthy spine to hold us up throughout the years to come.

This easy to follow--quick stretching and mobility routine is a great way to prioritize caring for your body in a way that doesn't take a lot of time to squeeze into your day. Instead of scrolling on your phone when you get home from work or first wake up in the morning try this routine as an alternative!
